Project Manager

Cloncurry Shire Council is seeking a Project Manager to join the team. This role is based in the heart of Northwest Queensland. What You’ll Do:

What You Bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience in managing infrastructure or civil works projects
  • A solid understanding of local government operations and compliance requirements
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office
  • Current Class C Queensland Driver’s Licence and Construction White Card

Desirable: 

  • Experience working in remote or regional communities
  • Awareness of environmental and cultural heritage factors in project work
  • AIPM, PMBOK, or PRINCE2 certification
